In loving memory

It is with great sadness that we said final goodbyes to our sweet girl Izzie, who was the stimulus for us to start breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels along with the formation of Enchanting Cavaliers. Izzie and Bailey were proud parents of 26 puppies over four litters, with the last of their litters totaling eight puppies — a male and female of each of the four Cavalier colors.

We worked with our veterinarians as she presented with cardiac issues without previous cardiac findings. Her murmur and symptoms progressed rapidly despite medications. In the wee hours of January 24th her symptoms drastically increased, with her housemates giving her special attention, kisses and companionship until she peacefully slipped away from us all. We still take a moment to look on the couch, which was her favorite spot to curl up for naps.

We miss her deeply but know that she is now in a better place, free to run and play with her housemates that would be waiting for her. We know we will see her again to get kisses and to hold her close. Rest in peace sweet girl — we miss you and will never, ever forget you!
