Retirement here means a spot on the sofa. On occasion we match a retiree with a qualified, deserving family so the two can share each other's company.
Lady Abagail of Gloucester
Black & Tan
Abby is a pure black and tan Cavalier, loving and intelligent with a beautiful coat. She was never a mom, but she was an outstanding aunt to the other moms and puppies in our program. Abby joined Sam, Paula and Emily in late 2025 after retiring from puppy watch duty, and is enjoying life with her new family in Arizona.
Lady Cassidy of Gloucester
Blenheim
Cassidy is a long, tall girl who wanted nothing more than to be a mother, though it was not meant to be. Easy going and beautiful, she loves everyone she meets. In June 2026 she happily joined Kemyt, Sam and Scarlet in their home — reuniting her with Skylar so the two can enjoy the rest of their lives together.
Lady Keelie of Gloucester
Ruby
Keelie retired in September 2025 as she approached five, after being an outstanding mom to every one of her puppies. Intelligent, outgoing and delightfully spoiled, she loves to cuddle and is always Susan's shadow. With Toby as dad, she produced beautiful, healthy pure ruby puppies.
Lady Layla Matthews of Gloucester
Tricolor
Layla is our petite girl, healthy at about ten pounds most of her life. As a puppy she dislocated a patella trying to jump into a lap and missed; after surgery she runs like a gazelle and can jump at least double her height. She was spayed and retired after an unplanned, healthy litter of four given her small size. Full of energy and love, she is Milt's little girl.
Lady Marlee of Gloucester
Ruby
Marlee retired in 2024 after one litter of beautiful puppies she cared for lovingly, and today she plays the role of auntie. She has always taken life slowly, happiest sitting outside in the grass watching anything and everything. Marlee was the first of our Cavaliers to give a true hug — standing on our laps and putting a paw on both sides of our necks.
Lady Skylar of Gloucester
Tricolor
Skylar produced three beautiful litters — once with Bailey and twice with Toby — and her puppies were always plump because she was such an outstanding mother. Loving, playful and an excellent lap warmer, she retired in September 2024 to a loving family in the Williamsburg, Virginia area, where she enjoys traveling, boating, long walks and the occasional couch-potato afternoon with Kemyt, Sam and now Scarlet.
